However, please be aware that this is only until the end of lockdown stage 4, currently planned for 19th July. Village Friends services will be reconsidered at that time.

Help we are able to offer:

• going to the shops for you

• collecting prescriptions

• posting letters and running errands

• dog walking

• befriending and telephone chats if you are feeling isolated, worried, anxious or finding it all too much.

• regular telephone calls to see how you are and check if you need anything

• other things which we haven’t thought of - please just ask!

• put you in touch with others if you need help that we are not able to provide

Your personal information will only be shared with relevant helpers and will be protected in accordance with GDPR. We have a safeguarding policy in place and relevant volunteers have had a DBS check.

We aim to respond to most requests within 48 hours Monday-Friday but this is not guaranteed. Please consider this with regard to such things as prescription collection.

We can help with referrals to and collections from the food bank.
