"Village Friends" is an initiative set up by the local churches and supported by the Parish Council and Support Staffordshire, to help coordinate support for those in Armitage, Handsacre and Hawkesyard who were in need during the Covid lock-down.

As the Covid lock-down ceased on 19th July 2021 and many of our volunteers are no longer available as they have returned to work, Armitage with Handsacre Village Friends is no longer accepting new requests. This may be reconsidered in future.

Village Friends received a grant to assist with costs from the National Emergencies Trust via The Community Foundation for Staffordshire.
